1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using any of Lucas0's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Lucas0 is a portfolio management and investment analysis platform that provides:

  • Real-time portfolio tracking and performance analytics
  • AI-powered investment insights using Lucas0 technology
  • Integration with Yahoo Finance for market data and financial information
  • Tools for tracking transactions, dividends, and portfolio history
  • Interactive dashboards and data visualizations

Lucas0 is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without prior notice.

3. Eligibility

You must meet the following requirements to use Lucas0:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
  • You must not be prohibited from using the service under applicable laws
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information

By using Lucas0, you represent and warrant that you meet all of these eligibility requirements.

4. Account Registration and Security

4.1 Account Creation

To use Lucas0, you must create an account by providing:

  • A valid email address
  • Your name
  • A secure password

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary to maintain its accuracy.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches
  • Using a strong, unique password that is not shared with other services

Lucas0 will never ask you for your password via email or phone. If you receive such a request, it is fraudulent—do not respond and notify us immediately.

4.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at admin@lucas0.local. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

5. Subscription Tiers and Payments

5.1 Free Tier

The Free Tier includes:

  • Basic portfolio tracking (1 portfolio)
  • 50 AI prompts per month
  • Access to core dashboard features
  • Real-time price updates

5.2 Pro Tier ($50/month)

The Pro Tier includes:

  • Unlimited portfolios
  • 500 AI prompts per month
  • Advanced analytics and reporting
  • Priority support
  • Export and data portability features

5.3 Billing and Payments

  • Payment Method: Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via credit card or other accepted payment methods.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time Pro subscribers. Subsequent months are non-refundable.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

5.4 Enterprise Tier

Enterprise pricing and features are available upon request. Contact us at admin@lucas0.local for custom pricing and service agreements.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use Lucas0 for any of the following prohibited activities:

6.1 Illegal Activities

  • Violating any local, state, national, or international laws or regulations
  • Engaging in insider trading or market manipulation
  • Using the platform for money laundering or terrorist financing

6.2 Security Violations

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the platform
  • Introducing malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Conducting security testing without prior written authorization

6.3 Abusive Behavior

  • Harassing, threatening, or impersonating other users or Lucas0 staff
  • Spamming, phishing, or sending unsolicited communications
  • Excessive API requests or attempts to overwhelm the platform (DDoS)

6.4 Intellectual Property Violations

  • Copying, modifying, or distributing Lucas0's code or content without permission
  • Scraping or harvesting data from the platform for commercial purposes
  • Creating derivative works based on Lucas0 without authorization

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination, as well as legal action where applicable.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Lucas0 Ownership

All content, features, and functionality of Lucas0—including but not limited to code, design, graphics, logos, and AI models—are the exclusive property of Lucas0 and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Lucas0 for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

7.3 Your Data

You retain ownership of all portfolio data, transaction records, and content you upload to Lucas0. By using the platform, you grant us a license to use this data solely to provide and improve our services as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-Party Services and Data

8.1 Yahoo Finance

Lucas0 integrates with Yahoo Finance to provide market data. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of Yahoo Finance data. Use of Yahoo Finance data is subject to Yahoo's terms of service.

8.2 Lucas0 (Lucas0)

Our AI-powered features use Lucas0 models from Lucas0. AI responses are generated algorithmically and should not be considered personalized financial advice. Lucas0's Terms of Service apply to AI interactions.

8.3 Third-Party Links

Lucas0 may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these external sites. Use them at your own risk.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

9.1 Not Financial Advice

IMPORTANT: Lucas0 is a portfolio tracking and analysis tool. We do NOT provide personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All information, analytics, and AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only and should not be construed as recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any securities.

You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. Consult with a licensed financial advisor before making investment choices.

9.2 No Guarantees

We make no guarantees regarding:

  • The accuracy or completeness of market data, prices, or financial information
  • Investment performance or returns
  • Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure platform operation
  • AI response accuracy or reliability

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lucas0 and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall NOT be liable for:

  • Investment losses or financial damages of any kind
  • Data loss, corruption, or security breaches (except where caused by our gross negligence)
  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Damages exceeding the amount you paid to Lucas0 in the 12 months preceding the claim

9.4 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lucas0 from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your misuse of the platform
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Investment decisions you make based on Lucas0 data or insights

10. Data Accuracy and User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • The accuracy and completeness of portfolio data you enter
  • Verifying all calculations, analytics, and reports before relying on them
  • Independently confirming market prices and financial information
  • Maintaining backup copies of important portfolio data

While we strive for accuracy, errors may occur in data calculations, integrations, or AI responses. Always double-check critical information.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of Lucas0 is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. By using the platform, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting a notice on the platform
  • Sending an email to your registered address
  • Updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page

Your continued use of Lucas0 after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the platform and may request account deletion.

13. Termination

13.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at admin@lucas0.local. Upon termination:

  • Your access to the platform will be revoked immediately or at the end of your billing period (for Pro subscribers)
  • Your data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law
  • You will not receive a refund for any unused portion of a paid subscription (except during the 7-day guarantee period)

13.2 Termination by Lucas0

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
  • Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Fail to pay subscription fees (for Pro subscribers)
  • Create security risks or harm other users

We will provide notice of termination where feasible, but reserve the right to terminate immediately in cases of severe violations.

14. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

14.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating any legal action, you agree to contact us at admin@lucas0.local to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will respond within 15 business days.

14.2 Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Lucas0 shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Arbitration will be conducted in the United States, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

14.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive the right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or representative actions against Lucas0.

14.4 Exceptions

Either party may seek injunctive relief or other equitable remedies in court to protect intellectual property rights or prevent unauthorized access.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Lucas0 operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lucas0 regarding your use of the platform and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
